When do I receive confirmation of my booking?
Our reservations are processed immediately; you will get your booking confirmation in the email you provide in just minutes.

Can you check availability for me?
Availability on this website is accurate, up to date and can be automatically checked prior to processing your reservation. Please insert your check-in day and total number of nights. Availability will be automatically confirmed. From this step you are invited to continue with your reservation process.

Can I book this when I get there?
Our website is designed to help you booking online. It is recommended you pre book your accommodation to avoid disappointment as Villas Arqueologicas Uxmal is a very popular destination and can be sold out early.

How far in advance can I book?
Hotel availability for the Hotel in Uxmal through our website have price guide pop-ups in a calendar format which indicate how far in advance the Villas of Uxmal can be booked at that time. Normally the availability of the Hotel Villas Uxmal is open. If you cannot find availability, please contact us via email using our contact form.

We have more than 9 people in our party - do you cater for groups?
According to the characteristics of our rooms in Villas Uxmal in the Room page there is a maximum capacity of 3 guests per room. Regarding that simple rule, please select the appropriate number of rooms to accommodate your party in different units according with their preferences and include a note in the Comments box to notify your party. We cannot guarantee that guests in a large group will be all accommodated in adjoining and/or connecting rooms.

What are the cancellation rules for my booking, if I need to cancel or do not show up?
This information can be found in the Terms and Conditions at the moment of booking the Hotel in Uxmal in the Booking Policies or at the bottom of most pages, under the link Terms & Conditions. Simply click on the link Terms & Conditions and read through the information to find the points you need. If you have a confirmed a booking, this information is also located at the bottom of your eVoucher.

Can you send me a brochure?
Our website and the details of the Hotel in Uxmal are electronic and only displayed on the web. You should find all the information you need about your desired accommodation on our information pages or you can download our brochures from the Media Library page. If there are other details you would like to know that are not specified anywhere on these pages, please contact us via email using our contact form.

Can you give me directions or maps from one place to another?
Villas Arqueologicas Uxmal is able to assist you with any questions specifically relating to the hotel. We can not answer your general travel questions. We do recommend you contact the local tourist or convention bureau, or an online provider of map information such as mapquest or google maps.

I don't know what date I'm traveling yet, can I book and leave it open dated?
The Villas in Uxmal have an only pre booked date designated in order for the hotel to cater for guests.

Is there a contact number at the destination for me to call?
Yes. Once you have a confirmed booking, all the details of your hotel reservation are located on your eVoucher under the heading Important Information. We also invite you to see our Contact information.

How do I book online?
Book in 2 easy steps! You'll see a box on every page of the hotel’s website asking for some brief details (check-in date, total number of nights) and a Confirm Availability button. Availability will be automatically confirmed. In order to continue with your reservation process:
a. Guest Details - Enter your full name, email and phone number, then Save & Continue.
b. Reservation Details - Enter your check-in date; select the total number of nights, number of guests, comments if applicable and Submit your information.
c. Secure Check-Out - Once you have entered all required information, you will be taken to the shopping cart page. Here you'll see an exact price quote of your selections.
d. Your Order Summary - If you are happy with the quote you can proceed to the checkout to enter payment details, all on the secure PayPal one screen.
e. eVoucher - After your purchase is confirmed, our Online Booking System will automatically email you a copy of your eVoucher.
Please, print out your eVoucher to redeem upon checking-in at the Hotel. Don’t you have access to a printer? No worries. Just look for your Confirmation Number in your eVoucher, write it down and show yourself at the Hotel Front Desk with a photo ID.

I don't have or own a credit card, how do I book?
Our website for Villas Arqueologicas Uxmal is a complete online system and uses a completely secure and automated booking engine, therefore we can only accept bookings made online, using an authorized and valid credit card as guarantee. If you require a different approach to book please Contact us.

Is my credit card safe?
Yes. The website of Hotel Villas Uxmal uses the Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer and all other popular browsers. SSL encrypts your personal information such as your password, address and telephone number, and your credit card is available only to you and the credit card companies. This encryption makes doing business on the Internet more secure than making purchases by telephone.

I'm getting errors / blank pages when I am trying to book, what is the problem?
Errors can often occur as pages can be "cached". We recommend you "refresh" or "reload" your pages and try again. If you are still experiencing difficulty, please Contact us via email with the details, the exact error message you are receiving as well as the page (URL) you are on.

I get a credit card error whilst trying to book, what do I do?
The booking process for Villas Uxmal is completely automated and all credit card transactions are 100% secure. If your credit card is generating a consistent error, verify that your card has not expired. You may also contact the card issuer to confirm your monthly spending limit has not been exceeded. Otherwise, we recommend you complete the booking using a different credit card.

Do I need a Visa or passport or are there any special requirements?
Hotel Villas Uxmal does not offer advice or information on visas, passports or special requirements. It is the responsibility of all travelers, regardless of the passport they hold, to check with the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed. As these requirements are subject to change without notice, it is recommended that foreign visa, passport and special requirements are investigated prior to travel.

Some of the guests (or children) do not have photo ID.
Not all guests require photo ID upon check-in. The main guest in the booking will definitely require a passport, or other valid photo ID, as identification in order to redeem their eVoucher.

Our names on the booking are different from those on our Photo ID's.
This will not be a problem as long as you have some sort of valid secondary ID that is the same as the name you have booked your travel service under.

Where can I get Travel Insurance?
Villas Uxmal does not offer Travel Insurance. You should seek the advice of your local licensed Insurance Company.

I have not received a reply to my emails.
Some email internet providers can mark general booking emails such as those sent from Hotel Villas Uxmal as "spam" - please check your spam folder for previous email replies. If you have your spam filter set on the highest ranking, only emails from senders in your address box will go into your inbox. Any other emails (such as replies from internet sites you have booked on) will go into a "spam" folder. These emails can sit in this folder for up to 7 days and then your email system will automatically delete them.

What is the best mean of transportation to reach the Villas Arqueologicas Uxmal?
By car, if no transportation owned or rented, the best is taking a taxi.

Does the hotel have parking in Uxmal?
Yes, exclusively for our customers at no cost.

Is there Internet in the Villas of Uxmal?
Yes, wireless and coverage area is the lobby, restaurant, terrace and pool area.

Does the wireless internet have any cost?
There is no cost for our customers and guests.

Can I make phone calls? What is the cost per call?
Domestic Call: $10 Pesos* per minute. International Call: $20 Pesos* per minute. *Prices may change without notice.

What is the price for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
The price can vary depending on your choices. Please visit our Restaurant & Bar where you can learn more about our services and you can view online or download our menu with current prices.

Is it possible to early check-in? is there any extra charge?
You can check-in a couple of hours earlier, but depend entirely on availability at the Uxmal Hotel, so we can not offer any guarantees. It does not have an extra cost. We ask you please indicate this request in your comments at the time of booking.

Are there cribs available?
Yes, there is no extra cost. We just request you to please indicate your request in your comments when booking.

Extra beds apply charge?
Yes, $220* Pesos. We ask you please indicate this request in your comments at the time of booking. *Prices may change without notice.

What other activities can be done or what other places can be visited besides the archaeological sites?
We invite you to visit our Attractions page where you will find other activities near the Hotel Villas Uxmal.

Do you offer private transfers from the hotel?
Unfortunately we do not have this service. We invite you to contact some local suppliers of car rental.

Which is the entry cost to the archaeological site?
Monday through Saturday: $116 Pesos*. Sunday admission is free exclusively to domestic tourism. *Prices may change without notice.

How I can arrange a guide for a tour at the archeological zone?
In the archaeological area you can hire a guide or you can contact a private guide at the reception of our Hotel in Uxmal regarding the schedules and reserving ahead. We recommend the services offered by certified guides licensed by the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH).
