JULIA CHI POOT, a local Mayan shaman, is well known in the area. Her relaxing and healing massages are beyond words. She learned her techniques through her dreams, where lights came to take her where she was shown massage, energy, and herbal therapies. She is often told that through her, a spirit heals a person of some illness or disease.
